Vermentino dei Colli di Luni Oro D'Isee' DOC, was born from our past and links the name of one of our great-great-grandfathers, who was called “ISEO”, to his habit of picking the best, most “GOLDEN” bunches of grapes from the vineyard and using them to make a small batch of wine to keep hidden and drink only on the most important festive occasions.

With this label we have tried to revive this concept of a small batch of excellent wine, choosing every year the best bunches of Vermentino in two estate-owned vineyards and vinifying them separately from the others with a cold maceration time on the skins of about 18 hours to maximize their organoleptic properties.

  1. GRAPE VARIETY: Vermentino 100% with selection of the best bunches
  2. PRODUCTION AREA: Luni and Castelnuovo Magra from approximately 100 to 200 metres above sea level.
  3. SOIL: Pebbly and clayey, rich in skeleton
  4. CULTIVATION AND PLANTING DENSITY: 4000 vines per hectare with Guyot PRODUCTION PER HECTARE: 85 q
  5. AVERAGE AGE OF VINES: 25 years HARVEST: Mid-September with manual harvesting in 20 kg crates
  6. VINIFICATION: Selection of grapes, maceration in press at controlled temperature for 24 hours, soft pressing under vacuum using only free-run must. Cooling to 10 °C with natural decantation.
  7. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16-17 °C for 15 days. Rest for 90 days on the fine lees. Refining in steel.
  8. TASTING NOTES COLOUR: Straw yellow with golden reflections AROMAS:
  9. Intriguing floral notes that give way to an intense golden apple and aromatic notes
  10. TASTE: Rich, mature and balanced. It enhances the olfactory sensations perceived
  11. PAIRINGS: Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs very well with elaborate fish dishes, white meats and vegetables.
