Gavi Fornaci DOCG is a white wine produced in the Gavi region of Piedmont, Italy. It is mainly made with the Cortese grape, which gives the wine characteristics of pleasant freshness and acidity.

The denomination "Fornaci" refers to the ancient brick kilns present in the wine production area. These kilns, used in the past for the production of bricks, have become a symbol of the area and are often associated with Gavi wine.

Gavi Fornaci DOCG is known for its elegance, complex flavor profile and distinctive minerality. It typically has a bright straw color and offers aromas of fresh fruit, such as green apple, pear and citrus, combined with delicate floral notes.

This wine goes well with dishes based on fish, seafood, fresh cheeses and light appetizers. Its balanced acidity and lively character make it a versatile choice to be enjoyed with meals or as an aperitif.

Gavi Fornaci DOCG Castellari Bergaglio: a wine that exudes floral fragrance of hawthorn and lily of the valley, accompanied by tones of ripe fruit, such as banana, oranges and hay. On the palate, a balanced and rich taste, with fruity and fresh notes; a real pleasure to be savored at 10°C in a tulip glass. The vineyards, owned by the Castellari Bergaglio family, are located in the clayey soils of Tassarolo: a unique and irresistible winemaking excellence!

TASTING NOTES It is extremely pleasant from the spring following the harvest, but reaches its greatest enjoyment after a few months of aging in the bottle. It does not fear a few years of permanence in the bottle.
