Greek of Sannio DOP La Guardiense

Greco di Sannio DOP La Guardiense is one of the labels of the largest producers' cooperative in Central and Southern Italy. Founded in 1960 by 33 far-sighted and courageous members, today La Guardiense has about a thousand: all farmers who directly cultivate more than 1,500 hectares of hillside vineyards (around 350 meters above sea level), with an average annual production of 200,000 quintals of grapes.

Great attention to environmental sustainability has always been the imperative, and it is practiced with integrated pest management in the vineyard and with the use of renewable energy from its own impressive photovoltaic system.

The winemaking management is entrusted to the tandem Marco Giulioli, internal winemaker, and Riccardo Cotarella, external consultant.

This Greco di Sannio DOP is part of the Janare line.
