MERLOT DOC FRIULI

Merlot DOC Friuli Cormons is a red wine produced in the DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) Cormons area, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in north-eastern Italy.

It stands out for its unique characteristics, resulting from:

Grapes: 100% Merlot, from sunny, hilly vineyards in the area.

Vinification: Following the DOC regulations, it takes place with fermentation in steel or wooden vats and a minimum refinement of 24 months on the yeasts in the bottle.

Merlot DOC Cormons Characteristics

• Color: Intense ruby ​​red with garnet reflections.

• Aroma: Complex aroma of ripe fruit (blackberry, blueberry), spices (vanilla, pepper), herbaceous and toasted notes (due to the aging in wood).

• Taste: Full-bodied, structured, balanced with soft tannins and a persistent finish.

• Alcohol content : 12.5-13.5 % vol. YEAR 2022
