Fresco di Nero is the fresh result of a grape very rich in fruit and extracts. It is still a choice of exclusivity deriving from our corporate philosophy and the legacy that history has left us on the San Miniato grounds.

GRAPES: Tempranillo 100%

PRODUCTION AREA: San Miniato, Tuscany

SURFACE: 0.5 hectares

AGE OF THE VINES: 12/20 years

TRAINING SYSTEM: Spurred cordon

HARVEST PERIOD: Third week of August

NATURE OF THE SOIL: Very compact white clays, with a skeleton composed mainly of marine fossils of the Pliocene age and with a high mineral complexity. ALTITUDE: 100-150 meters. asl PLANT DENSITY: 7000 vines per hectare.

YIELD PER PLANT: 1.5 kg VINIFICATION: In cement tanks at low temperature with maceration on the skins for three days

MATURATION: Four months on the lees in a concrete tank AGING: 1 month in the bottle

TIPS: Serve at a temperature of 10° as an aperitif, or at a temperature of 14° in combination with food.

PAIRINGS: fresh cold cuts, such as ham and salami, fresh cheeses, tacos, aperitif appetizers, boiled meat and vegetables, grilled fish, fish and meat tartare, truffle-based dishes (San Miniato is a land of excellence for white truffles)

ORGANOLEPTIC NOTES: Colour: Bright and transparent light red Bouquet: Fresh scents of red flowers, wild strawberries and pomegranate. Flavour: The right wine to quench your thirst! Very light, yet complex and fruity at the same time.
