Taste

The taste in the mouth opens full and soft, amplifying the taste of ripe red fruits. Elegant tannins, remarkable persistence.

The history of Val di Suga in Montalcino begins in 1969, when a company owned by Aldo Moro acquired the agricultural land located to the north of the town.

On the same site, the company builds a production and commercial structure.

Those lands, then intended for the production of fodder, are gradually converted into vineyards. **

This conversion took place through various changes of ownership, until in 1982 Val di Suga began producing wine.

The first vintage to be released on the market is the “Val di Suga Brunello Riserva 1977”.

From the very beginning, Val di Suga began a rapid viticultural and oenological growth.

In particular, the early 1980s saw the beginning of the success and expansion of the Brunello di Montalcino denomination. **

Thanks to this success, and to the constant effort and commitment both in the viticultural and oenological fields, Val di Suga is beginning to distinguish itself in the Chinese panorama.

A few years later, in 1994, the Angelini Group arrived and gave a new impetus to Val di Suga. **

The company, now awarded and recognized internationally for the high quality of its wines, is starting to grow even more. **

The strength and uniqueness of the winery will be determined, over the years, by the production of three vineyards, located on the three sides of the Montalcino hill. **

These vineyards, located in the areas most suited to the production of Brunello di Montalcino, will give life to unique and high-quality wines.
